Milk kesari/Paal kesari.. After my blogging i came to know about this rich sweet, usually mom prepare kesari with half milk and half water.. and taste better than normal rava kesari.. after having this version its the best one.. when ever i have kesari, i remember the A2B Kesari.. 

Such a mouth melting one.. they serve it in ration also can’t eat more than they serve, that much rich and delicious,this blogging experience taught the yummy keasri, i always want to have a crumbled kesari as shown in pic.. though its soft and smooth, i make it cool and did the crumble for photo clicking.. also I’m not satisfied with the photo too, i expect some thing other than this, but the day was very hectic and bad, so i finished the photo session asap.. we’ll not celebrate diwali, but after my blogging i though enjoy the diwalli season with lot sweets and savory snacks, also one thing about this kesari, it’s a more rich version and the taste comes with the excess of sweetness, if you want you can reduce the sugar quantity but i never assure for the exact taste…okay lets see the recipe.. do try and let me know how it turned for you….

Paal Kesari / Milk Kesari

Recipe Cuisine: Indian  |  Recipe Category: Dessert
Prep Time: 5 mins   |  Cook time: 15 mins    |  Serves: 2

Ingredients

Rava 1 cup
Milk 3 cups
Sugar 2 cups
Ghee 3-4 tsp
Cashew nuts 3-4 nos
Raisins 1 tsp
Elachi/Cardamon 1 nos
Food Color a pinch 

Method

1. Roast the rava/soooji in a pan and set aside.. Heat the pan with ghee fry the nuts and raisins.. fry them for a while..

 2. Add the roasted rava to the pan and mix well, cook this for few mins..

3. Add the pinch of color and stir well.. now add the 3 cups of milk and cook till the rava absorbs all the milk..

4. Once they absorb all the milk add the sugar and mix well now the rava will loose the consistency..

5. Stir well and cook till they ooze out the ghee can add a sp of ghee in this stage.. stir continuously till they roll out from the pan...

  Notes

    • Milk kesari needs more sugar, i used rava:sugar:Milk in 1:2:3 ratio..
    • Can reduce few tsp of ghee and add some oil too..
    • Method is same like rava kesari..
