Chocolate cake Eggless Version/Rich Choco Cake



Thank Gayathri Kumar to give this opportunity & conducting an wonderful event & a group on "Egg less Baking"..It's my first post for Baking-Eggless group. this month we got the Challenge of "Hershey's Perfect Chocolate Cake" I don't have hershey's product so i used Jamesons Cocoa syrup... That'w my choco cake is mild in color.. but taste was good....Had a tough time to bake this eggless version... 3-4 times took the trial and finally fix the ratio and Substitution for egg..

Chicken curry(Gujarati Method)/ Marghanu Shaak


It's my 100th post don't know how i reached the Mile stone(100th post)...Thank Every viewers.

Now coming to Gujarati Chicken curry... very easy version of chicken........ very tasty too... i used my fresh homemade G G Masala. I Amazed with the result.. "Marghanu Shaak" it's Gujarati name.. this curry goes well with Roti/Dosa/Rice... 

I Did in pressure cooker. you can try this in kadai by this steps..also you can add Coconut and cashew paste along with this..I'll update that curry soon.. this taste's good..

Curry Masala / Biriyani Masala / Home made Graham Masala

 
Almost Every one's Pantry will give a space for this masala mostly they are readymade, This is my mother-in-laws recipe...& is Exclusive to our family.. Once you use fresh, Hand-Ground Graham masala, You will never want to use the store-bought ones again... this masala is used in mutton, chicken, Egg, biryani, in some vegetarian curries also... i use this fresh masala to my dhal also... Fresh aromatic masala Change your curries... here i used to make this in 10 gms quantity, you can increase the quantity by your choice... this 10gms pack Cost me around 150 rs.....

Fresh Masala(Ginger & Garlic Paste/G G Paste) Gujarati Masala


This Fresh masala helps you in the kitchen in your peek times.. it's an Gujarati Masala got this from a book  written by bhanu hajratwala... Now it's my helper in Non veg curries, potato curries, egg curry instead of Ginger and Garlic Paste (G G paste) im using this masala.. After using this Fresh masala im  not interested to search G G paste in Grocery Racks...  Fresh Masala gives your recipe Fresh taste..


Ingredients:
Garlic- 100gms
Ginger- 250 gms
Green chillie- 100 gms
Lime juice- 1/4 cp
Oil- 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp


Here is the Ingredients


Grind the Ginger in the blender


Add in garlic and grind


Lime Juice


Add in lime juice and green chillie


Add in Turmeric powder and oil blend well


Store in a container 


Fresh masala Ready to refrigerate

Turkey berry dhal curry/Sundaikkai Sambar


Turkey berry from this name don't feel bad it's an familiar vegetable for south indians.... sundaikkai it's English name Turkey berry....Turkey berry is good medicinal plant..Turkey Berry plant grows in our house garden and also in hilly areas. The Turkey Berry that grows in hilly areas has a more bitter taste than that of the berries that are grown in our house garden.We can use consume the fresh Turkey Berries plucked from the plant and also we can consume it in the dried form. It is better to have the fresh Turkey Berry than the dried one. It has the potential to kill the germs and also acts as a medicine for cold, and also helps in problems related to the chest and stomach. And people who have diarrhea, stomach ache, piles, tuberculosis should use Turkey berry as a part of their food. And taking Turkey Berry regularly will help in strengthening the nerves.

Mexican Pizza - Tortilla Pizza


Pizza No one will say no to this flying dish.... as this was an familiar name "Pizza" Now You can do this in your home.... no need of pizza base, no need of ketchup, all the things are handy in your pantry... I did this in oven ... no worries same can be done in tawa... (In medium flame) with a proper lid... only thing You need search is mozilla cheese... this can be get in any super markets and stores... it cost 75 INR... You can make cubes of it use for 6 months... Kids will enjoy to have make pizza at home...  now all your pizza dream going to true... in your home... 

Refried Red Bean

Usually i don't like Rajma.. because of it's non spicy taste.... this time Red beans have blend with butter, Oregano, chilli flake... that was so yummy... you'll be hungry when these spices get blend at that time itself.. that much lovely recipe this one,I force my self to try this recipe for "Mexican Cusines" but i started Loving this Red Bean "It's Valentines Day nah"  This Rajma was Sitting quite in the corner of my pantry more than 6 months... I told you in the first line i hate it's taste, from today this is one of favorite pulse....

Ingredients:
Rajma- 1 cup
Onion- 1/2 cup (Chopped)
Garlic- 8 pods
Butter- 3 tsp
Oregano- 1 tsp
Chillie Flake- 1 tsp
Jeera- 1 tsp
Salt


Soak the Rajma/Red Bean/Kidney bean for 8 hours


Pressure cook it for 2-3 whistles with some salt & 3-4 pods of garlic, and blend the Beans in mixer


Now here is the Ingredients


Heat the pan with butter


Saute the onion for few mins


Add in crushed garlic and jeera

 

Now put the Oregano and chillie flakes


Fry for few mins You'll start love the smell


Now add in the mashed Bean and Add the bean water... make it dry

Again It's an simple Delicious mexican dish Good for tea time.... Salsa That's easy flavored dip.... the previous post Tortilla is reborn here... this dish was going to "Mexican Cusines" Very simple dish all beginners can try.. who ever want to change the taste of Indiian Cusines can try this.... Simple A Roti made of madi(All Purpose Flour) can be baked or deep roasted to form Tortilla chips... Salsa  Lemon flavored raw dip..

 Idli-Podi it's my mother-in -laws version... my mom, mother-in-law will do idli podi, and other spice masala in home preparation though in their busy schedule.. they'll do for us( Me and my sister- in- law), Now i got the Perfect recipe for idli podi and it comes full flavorful version... Spicy Masala powder.. Goes well with the Idli/Dosa by mixing this Podi in oil....

Chocolate Cake

Im Beginner in Baking..To improve my hand in Baking i joined Baking Eggless Group By Gayathri's Cook spot  This month "February 2013" We Got the Topic "Hershey's Perfect Chocolate Cake"... It's my first attempt in Chocolate I tired this with Egg.. Eggless version will be Posted soon.. Also I didn't used Hershey's product here... I used Jameson's Product... Coming to the recipe... 

Gosht Biryani

Hubby's Fav dish.."Mutton Biryani" After tasting this he was telling "it's the best biryani in your preparation" ushhhhhhhhhh......Seriously never thought i'll cook mutton after marriage but that happens My sweet heart's favorite one is mutton... specially mutton biryani....

You know 1 thing before start to cut mutton i'll put on gloves/ cover my hands with some thing that much i hate mutton and mutton smell.. He'll buy a kg never gone less than this quantity... i'll blink what to do with this??? (In our starting days) then i'll call up my mom, mother-in law, my aunty... i'll go clarify my Recipe books, browse in google... huuuuuh now finally i got my style of making the mutton in delicious....

 Last week My brother Courier'd 1 book... full of non-veg recipes, It's Non Vegetarian Delights by Sandhya Kumar... That Rise me up in Non-veg cooking... yes i tried this Ghost Biriyani in last week end... That gives me an amazing result... never ever i imagined.... Already i've Posted Mutton Biriyani this Gosht biriyani Taste like anything...

I've made some twist in this Recipe... Ghost biriyani In my recipe book was, need to prepare the Rice and Gravy separately and mix by forming layers... Here I skipped this step and did in full pressure cooker method... but nothing went wrong it was a perfect version of mine....

Small Shrimp Roast

Small shrimp... one of my favorite seasonal sea food... i missed this so much....small shrimp all you know it small prawns...  here i got some dried small shrimp..... I prepared this recipe with coconut flavor .... No curry or side dish is need to have this with white rice.... you can prepare this with fresh small shrimp with the same prepartion..

Marble Cake


I Love this cake... my brother will buy from Swiss bakery "Nagercoil".... before i start to bake i thought it's a difficult one and most of the i may wonder about the design.... Finally my dream cake came to true in my hand in my  microwave... LOL... That a easy cake it was... Same as Sponge Cake..
2 more additional steps in this....... mix the coco powder in some batter and drop the mix to the vanilla batter, swirl the cocoa batter into the Vanilla batter to incorporate it in a marble effect. Here we go with the Recipe.....
